Household bill breakdown

With all of the recent furor about the costs of our energy bills and the ‘Not so greens’ maintaining that the sky is falling in because of the small addition of green tariffs I thought that I would just include this DECC infographic on the cost breakdown of our bills. This was produced before the latest rise so the percentages will have moved.

Lord knows how much the nuclear deal will cost us as if it is anything like the current deals the tax payer will pick up the de-commissioning costs.

The event will offer you the opportunity to network with other organisations, businesses, groups and individuals with an interest in local food. You will also be able to take part in workshop activities where you can make your contribution towards a local food plan for Market Harborough and have the opportunity in taking a lead part in steering this vision.

Developing Harborough

I just thought that with the recent disquiet about the over development of Harborough and its services creaking at the seams and the new National Planning Policy Framework together with our councils contentious Core Spatial strategy that maybe it would be interesting to see what future development areas the council has in mid.

This PDF shows the land submitted to the council after its call for future development land.

PS : This document does not include the Council owned garage sites which are all to be sold for development
